SafAle F-2 was specifically selected for secondary fermentation in a bottle and barrels. These yeast assimilate to an insignificant degree maltotriose, but well absorb the simplest sugars (glucose, fructose, sucrose and maltose), and also have their neutral aromatic profile, without interfering with the original organoleptic character of the beer.

SafAle F-2 is resistant to high alcohol concentrations> 10% by volume and allows the brewers to obtain all the properties of re-fermentation: beer protection through oxygen absorption, flavor completeness and aromatic maturation, carbon dioxide saturation, good ability to form a dense deposit at the bottom of the bottle / barrel , and also to form a uniform turbidity with agitation.
